More Than a Driver II

Well, it’s been a year since I started my own ride service. I have given over 3,500 rides during that time and wrote a book about my experiences called, More Than a Driver. This book is not necessarily a sequel, but rather a continuation of the journey. Some of the regular passengers have become friends while others I am still getting to know. Their lives are interesting to me and some stories may be heartbreaking, but the passengers all share one common thread – they are without a means of transportation.

Sue’s Ride Service fills the gap in transportation for many people in Macomb, Illinois. It has grown so much that I had to hire another driver – my husband, Tim! I don’t know how he exactly feels about it all, but I do know that between the two of us, we will get our passengers where they need to go. Join us on our adventure!
